the location allowed a straightforward walk to the city center. the room provided warmth and great comfort. i particularly enjoyed the excellent cooked breakfast offered each morning. the television worked very well within the room too.
i noticed the shower's water pressure was not powerful in the room. temperature adjustment also required some patience for consistent use.

superb locationusb portsdelicious breakfast
The location was superb. I walked to many attractions with ease (the castle was a highlight!). My room had lamps with USB and USB-C ports. I didn't need an adapter. Breakfast was delicious and started my day off right.
The street noise was a bit noticeable, especially in the early morning.

Acceptable, but certain aspects need improvement.

limited breakfast optionsno wardrobe
The breakfast experience need some work. I asked for scrambled eggs, but the host told me only fried eggs were available. I found this pretty inflexible. the room had no wardrobe, only a coat rack with hangers. I was stuck living out of my suitcase.

The location was good near bus stations. It was easy to access the city center from Tollcross bus stations. The host offered a very good scottish breakfast every morning. He gave us little attentions on several occasions.
The windows were old so I could hear cars driving past. The pillow was lumpy and uncomfortable. There was only a clothes rack to hang clothes.
